The Good Dog Center's Dog Park Rules of Membership
Membership to the Good Dog Center Dog Park applies to all dogs that pre-register and meet our requirements for health and temperament and lets you use the dog park as long as you like during normal hours of operation. These rules are enforced for safety reasons so that you and your dog can enjoy the benefits of a private dog park.
*PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

**Please Note:  We do not allow pit bulls, pit bull mixes, American Staffordshire terriers or Am Staff mixes, during our General Hours, however dogs of these breeds may reserve time during the Private Hour schedule.

 Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries or damages caused by their dogs.
 All Members (dogs) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 years or older.
 Dog feces must be cleaned up and properly disposed of by owners immediately.
 Each adult may have only 2 member dogs at a time in the dog park. Proof of current vaccinations, spay/neuter, and flea preventative must be on file with the Good Dog Center.
 Owners must stop dogs from digging and must fill any holes caused by their dogs.
 All dogs must be good-tempered, well-adjusted and exhibit good social skills with both humans and dogs. The Good Dog Center reserves the right, in its sole discretion to refuse the participation of any pet whose behavior is deemed unsafe or unsatisfactory.
 All dogs participating in interactive group play must be spayed or neutered. Note: A private play session may be reserved for one-on-one for fetch, frisbee, tug o' war or just unleashed freedom for the unspayed and unneutered dogs or those otherwise socially incompatible.
 Dogs must be on a 6 foot or shorter lead AT ALL TIMES until they are INSIDE the dog park fenced area.
 Owners must carry a leash at all times and supervise your dog/s, and at no time may the owner leave the fenced area without his/her dog.
 The safest collar for your dog to wear in a dog park is a break-away collar. The next best collar is a flat buckle collar, fit just loosely enough so that you can pull it off the dog's head without undoing it. Choke chains, pinch or prong collars are allowed for walking your dog to/from the play yard, but are NOT allowed on the dog in the play yard. These collars can be very dangerous, as dogs can get tangled, injured or choked. A safely fitted flat collar (as above) is generally what we recommend. Electronic collars are not allowed.
 NO RUNNING in the play yard for safety reasons – except the dogs, of course! Although the play yard path is maintained, it is in a natural setting and the surface is uneven and contains dips and holes. Owners enter at their own risk.
 For safety reasons, no minors under the age of 12 years are allowed in any areas, unless during a privately reserved session.
 If your dog is annoying or aggressive to another dog or to its owner, you must take immediate action. This may mean issuing a time-out for your dog, or even leaving the dog park.
 Throwing toys or tennis balls can create competition, jealousy and fights between dogs. If you see this reaction, please refrain from this activity and let the dogs play among themselves.
 No one may conduct any kind of commercial or professional business in the dog park without approval from the owners of the Good Dog Center.
 No climbing on or over the fence.
 No animals other than dogs allowed.
 No glass containers allowed inside the fenced area.
 No motorized vehicles allowed except wheelchairs.
 Parents and legal guardians must recognize that dogs are excitable creatures and their actions are often unpredictable. The interaction of live animals is inherently dangerous and as a result, injuries and/or illnesses may occur. Parents and legal guardians wishing to participate in the Good Dog Center Dog Park must execute a full and unconditional release of liability, releasing the Good Dog Center., its representatives, employees and all other participants in the Good Dog Center from any and all liability for any illness or injury which they and/or their pet may suffer or incur as a result of their presence at the Good Dog Center Dog Park.
 No inhumane treatment of dogs is allowed. This means no kicking, punching, hitting or poking with objects, slapping the nose, face or head.
 Dogs and/or children are not allowed to be left unattended in vehicles, regardless of the temperature.
 ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING and NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
 NO DOG TREATS OR FOOD in the play yards. Treats or food can create jealousy and aggression between dogs.
 Puppies under 6 months old are not allowed during general hours.
 The play yards are open on rainy days, however, please note that our fields can get very muddy when wet.
 Lastly, have fun!

The word "owner" applies to the adult person accompanying the dog/s.
A dog owner who fails to comply with the above rules may be asked to leave the dog park and may have their membership revoked.
